Long story short she has been ‘finding’ things (inside other people’s backpacks).
For instance a 20 dollar kids camera, some lipstick thing, make up toys, etc.
She’ll be punished at school but we are thinking of what to do here at home.
Time out, even standing time out, seem rather dull and uninspired.
What will really make her THINK about what she’s done and keep her from doing it again?
Parents, any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi,
I was wondering what are the best brands available to European customers. Something equivalent to Kelty, Caribee & that sorta thing.
Thing is I am in need to buy 2 backpacks, for me & my gf to use as a Carry-On Luggage for Europe- Australia. So It would have to have
- the right dimensions to be used as a carry-on luggage(slightly bigger wouldnt be a prob as with backpacks you can just stuff them less),
- be big enough to carry a 17" laptop safely, & needs for a 1 – 3 day trip (I assume 40L is the right approximation)
- comfortable for long walks ( so sternum &/or waist straps & decent padding)
- heavy duty & durable
Also, If you guys know of any online stores re Backpacks which sell to European addresses it would be awesome as I’ve tried purchasing from online stores in the US but the shipping costs where over the top!
Regards!!

I’m just started high school and I thought I needed a sturdier, higher quality backpack this year. My backpack during the school day weighs about 20-30 lbs on average, and when I pack it to walk home at the end of school it weighs about 25 lbs. I have a Jansport backpack, but it’s pretty flimsy and I was wondering what other brands are better. Any answers much appreciated.

I am going to Philmont next year with my scout troop and i am trying to decide which pack to get. I am either going to get the High Sierra Long Trail 90 Internal Frame Pack, or the Kelty Coyote 4750 Internal Frame Pack. The pack needs to be able to hold about 40 pounds of gear. I am a five foot four inch guy and i weigh about 100 pounds. Which pack would be the best?

I kneed a really awesome backpack. Something functional but also stylish. It needs to fit a fair few books, lunch, a pencil case, and little bits and bobs. Links would be much appreciated. If you could also find sites that sell the backpacks online and ship in Australia that would be super. Thx much.

I’ve been using totes and other one-shoulder bags for school for a while now, but now I’m getting achy shoulders. Are backpacks too "high school" for college? Any other suggestions to relieve the stress on my shoulder?

And why are those people usually from the low income neighborhoods who do that too? I mean they’re gonna talk about cutting so and so up and how they are so hardcore yet they wear these dora the explorer and spongebob backpacks? like wtf?

They’re just regular backpacks but the bottom part is brown so when you set it down, the only part touching the ground is the brown part.

I have only ever had one for an entire school year, but I was thinking that I’d like to have maybe two different backpacks so that I could switch my backpack once and a while to match my outfit or fit my mood.
I already bought a backpack that I love (it was dollars.) And now I want another (it is )
Is it ridiculous to have two backpacks for one school year, and am I spending too much on them?

My school finally is allowing us to have real backpacks. All the backpacks where I live are dull and I hate that. Japanese backpacks are cool but I can’t seem to find any awesome ones. eBay sucks, googles crap, and Bing’s just dumb. I need a real nice backpack that is so awesome it makes your eyes bleed. Any suggestions?
I would really rather buy one online.

I’ve been to REI and other sporting good stores in search for camping gear in particularly tents. I see brands like Kelty, North Face, and Eureka and have seen their tents and to be honest, I don’t see the reason for such a high price for these tents. Some are as much as 0 and I just don’t get it. Some say it’s the quality but I’ve been camping for over 20 years and my Coleman tent has held up in pretty harsh weather including heavy rain stroms and even snow and my coleman cost me about 0. I even have a Ozark Trail tent that has held up and never leaked. So what’s the rationalation for such high prices? I don’t get it. I have friends who say the quality is better yet they always seem to buying new tents every year and I’ve had my Coleman and Ozark for almost 8 years now and I camp about four to five times a year so they get used. s the quality that much better?

I don’t know. i guess it’s a dumb question, but i wanna make sure cuz i had a lighter and cigarettes with me last time, and they confinscated my lighter at the door ( for obvious reasons, but just wondering ) so are backpacks okay to bring? i know some places don’t allow it for some reason.

I am wondering which is the best tent manufacturer to purchase, i.e. eureka, ll bean tent, kelty, coleman, cabelas tents, etc. I am looking for a tent that will be pretty much waterproof out of the box, a little seam sealer won’t matter, but also one that will last me a while. I am looking pretty much for a tent with a screen room/ screened vestibule, like the ll bean king pine, eureka grand manan tour, kelty green river, etc. Thank you in advance.

A neon backpack, or a cute kid’s designed backpacks that are big…?
But not pink or purple or those colors, and as in kid designs, for example, Sesame Street backpacks. Thanks!

I’m going on a 2 week backpacking trip around europe this summer and I need to decide on a backpack. I already have a kelty red cloud 5000 st I bought for camping several years ago, but I’m worried that its simply too big for this trip. It’s size defeats the purpose of packing light and being mobile, but using it would save me 0… Should I get a new smaller bag?
